Reindeer Rumpus

​Liholiho Warriors, get your running shoes ready! The Liholiho Reindeer Rumpus will be held during PE class during the week of December 13-17. This is your chance to get fit and have fun with your friends. 100% of the funds raised by students will go to the Liholiho PTA and directly benefits your students.
 
When? 
The Reindeer Run will take place at Liholiho Elementary during the week of December 13-17 in conjunction with each class. Participation is free and students will run with their classmates during their designated PE period.
 
Why?
All funds raised for PTA are spent on items the school and students need. Especially during this time when lots of cleaning supplies and PPE are needed for both students and staff, every dollar the PTA raises goes to supporting the school.  

How?
The process is simple. 

• Students will ask people to be “sponsors”.
  • Sponsors may choose to donate a dollar amount based on the number of laps a student runs or they may wish to make a flat rate donation.
  • Sponsors may be friends, family, neighbors, parent’s co-workers or business associates.  Please do not go door-to-door unless accompanied by an adult.
  • Parents, ask your employers if they participate in employee donation matching.
• On the day of your child’s PE class, make sure they bring a water bottle, apply sunscreen, and wear running shoes! Also, students are encouraged to wear festive attire and bring their holiday spirit to PE class.
• Students will run around the designated areas directed by Coach Kelly and their teachers.  Don’t forget to get your lap cards checked off!
• After the run, Liholiho Warriors to ask sponsors to submit their donation to the Liholiho Laulima PTA site at https://liholiholaulima.org by Monday, December 20th.

Prizes!
Two winners per grade level will be announced after the pledge sheets and donations are collected.
The top student in each grade who collects the most in donations AND who runs the most laps will win a Jamba Juice gift card. 
Also….
The classroom with the highest participation rate in donation collections will win an ice cream party! If multiple classes have 100% student participation, the highest dollar amount collected will be the tiebreaker.
